SubleaseDirectory
Privacy

We collect what the directory needs—not your rent or deposit.

Effective August 14, 2026. This launch policy should be reviewed by privacy counsel before production and updated when analytics, identity verification, messaging or additional payment features are enabled.

Information collected

We collect listing details, contact information, communications sent through our forms, service selections, transaction references from payment providers, device or usage data, and verification materials you choose to submit. Do not upload Social Security numbers, complete financial-account numbers or unnecessary identity documents.

How information is used

We use data to operate listings, facilitate contact, review approval evidence, provide support, process service purchases, prevent abuse, measure performance, comply with law and improve the directory.

Public listing information

Listing details and selected contact methods may be displayed publicly. Exact-address visibility should be chosen carefully. Do not publish information you are not authorized to share.

Service providers and payments

Infrastructure, database, email, analytics, verification and payment vendors may process information for us. Stripe and PayPal receive payment information under their privacy policies; SubleaseDirectory does not receive full card credentials.

Retention and security

We retain information as reasonably needed for the service, safety, disputes and legal obligations. No system is perfectly secure. Verification documents should be minimized, access-controlled and deleted under a documented retention schedule before that feature launches.

Choices and rights

Depending on location, users may request access, correction or deletion and may have additional privacy rights. Requests can be sent to support@subleasedirectory.com. We may verify the requester and retain data where legally required.

Children and changes

The service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will post an effective date. Material changes should receive additional notice where required.
